Hi Regina, Thanks for the post :) I'm also planning to marry on April 2011 in Cebu, in this small island, but i'm also considering resorts in Mactan. I feel overwhelmed as its hard to get things arranged when you are not there and i'm in Toronto. Please if you can update on some possible good venues. Happy Planning!

I just happened to follow this link while I was searching for a prof. wedding planner-coordinator. =) Regina's right that word of mouth really counts esp. when the person you're asking is very reliable. Good thing that someone mentioned to me & I have learned thru research that Bonie Almendras & his usual partner Tisha Gerona of i do events are one of the pioneers in the cebu wedding industry and they already did a lot of beautiful & unique weddings in Cebu. Their sense of originality & good personality makes them a cut above the rest. And oh, they really looked cute in their uniforms too during the wedding day! ReplyDeleteHi Maricel! We went with Shangri-La Mactan for our venue and we're finding it to be very worth it! Coleen Rosario (the inhouse events coordinator) is just perfect. She's quick to respond and very easy to talk to.
